My fellow residents of Lexington,

Today, I come before you as a devoted servant of our great community. As a proud husband, father, and a long-time resident of this city for nearly three decades, I share in your joys, concerns, and aspirations.

I am not here simply seeking a title; I am here because I genuinely understand the challenges we all face. I am in touch with your hearts and minds, and I recognize the struggles we encounter daily. My commitment to this city is rooted in the values of dedication and resilience, and it is with this conviction that I serve as your elected representative, fighting to build a better Lexington.

When I assumed office, my sole agenda was to be a voice for the people, demonstrating that true leaders genuinely care about your well-being and the sustainable growth of our city. I want to show you that within each of us lies the power to create the change we’ve been yearning for.

• We have generated $500 million in economic development, fostering opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive.
• We have created over 500 new jobs, empowering our fellow residents to fulfill their potential and contribute to our community’s progress.

• We have forged stronger bonds with our county and state representatives, ensuring our city’s needs are heard and addressed at every level of government.

Affordable Housing Solutions:

• Work with developers and non-profit organizations to increase the availability of affordable housing.
• Explore incentives and zoning strategies to encourage the development of affordable housing units.
• Advocate for policies that protect existing affordable housing and prevent displacement.

Effective Government and Collaboration:

• Strengthen communication and collaboration with county and state officials for shared initiatives.
